Free Tax Filing Assistance for Seniors, Says Labs

HARRISBURG – Free tax filing assistance for senior citizens is now available at Central Bucks Senior Center, announced Rep. Shelby Labs (R-Bucks).

Labs is working with the AARP Tax-Aide Program in offering free assistance for seniors to file their federal, state and local tax returns. The program assistance will be offered to local seniors from Tuesday, Feb. 1, to Friday, April 15, the last day to file state and federal taxes.

The free tax assistance program will take place at the Central Bucks Senior Center, located at 700 N. Shady Retreat Road in Doylestown.

Spots fill up quickly and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a spot and schedule an appointment, call Labs’ district office at 215-489-2126 anytime Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
